I spent yesterday cleaning wads of baby spit up off of myself, my couch, and my sweet baby boy after getting 1.5 hours of sleep the night before. Motherhood is not for the weak.
Besides our journey into parenthood, the Army Surgeon and I have A LOT going on in our lives.
My husband just graduated from his surgical residency training. To say this is a big accomplishment is an understatement. I am so proud of him and so excited for him to start practicing as an attending physician.
As I write this post, movers are packing all of our belongings because are relocating to Georgia. My husband is changing duty stations to Fort Benning. We just said goodbye to all of our lovely friends in the Pacific Northwest last weekend. Even though I only spent a year here, it was still heartbreaking to say goodbye to all of our friends as well as the staff & providers I worked with over the past year.
We embark on our cross country road trip (with an 8 week old – EEK!) on Saturday! Can’t wait to let y’all (I can say that now!) know how it goes!
